Newcastle University is home to leading international centres of Creative Practice. We offer a variety of distinctive master’s programmes across Fine Art, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Creative Writing, Film, and Music. You will be taught by internationally leading practitioners and artists.

Our MFA in Fine Art is a two-year full-time studio-based course taught by leading professional artists. We support practice and research in all areas of contemporary art practice including painting, sculpture, digital media, drawing, performance, photography, printmaking, installation, art writing, film, and video art.
Our Curating Art MA, will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills as a curator or gallery educator. We work in collaboration with our key partners - the Hatton Gallery and the Laing Art Gallery.
