The Department of Art Practice at the University of California, Berkeley is accepting applications for the position of Academic Coordinator 1 at
50% time. The Academic Coordinator serves the needs of the department through 2 distinct positions:
Worth Ryder Gallery Curator: The role of the WRG curator is to develop, install, and curate student, faculty, and community exhibitions.
Lecture Series Coordinator: In consultation with Art Practice faculty, the Lecture Series Coordinator selects, schedules, and oversees an array of lectures by diverse artists.
Minimum qualifications: MFA or equivalent and 2 yrs of experience as a Gallery Director or Curator.
Salary Range: $38,952-$50,268.
(Salary is based on 100% time. Position is, as stated, 50% time)
